East Sussex WRAS is an award winning community charity operating a front line ambulance service for people who find sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. The charity has also established its own veterinary hospital dedicate to the care of wildlife. The charity has its own vets, staff and volunteers who look after around 5000 casualties every year.
From pigeons to peregrine falcons to us it doesn’t matter what the species is, if it is sick and injured we will always try our best to help.
We rely heavily on donations / standing orders / legacies to support our valuable work. If you can help by donating or volunteering please get in touch.
We provide an out of hours emergency rescue service to help people who find casualties like foxes or badgers which the public can’t be expected to handle and transport safely themselves.
