Rang Chris after finding an young, injured greenfinch in my garden. What a lovely lady she is -warm and caring we need more people like her !! I left this little bird in her very capable hands I just hope he /she makes it !!
Good luck with the wildlife centre project-very happy to volunteer my services if needed.

They’re aren’t many like this lady. Totally devoted to this cause, she took in a grounded swift we found. I understand other animal charities don’t always give every bird a second chance but the minute you meet this lady you understand she most definitely will. We need to clone her! She was keen to pass on her knowledge to both me and my kids, I’ve learnt a lot about swifts as a result. Thank you for all that you do and putting aside a massive chunk of your life to use your expertise in such a valuable way.

What a lovely, lovely lady. She readily accepted my poorly blackbird fledgling recently and has got it back to good health with view to release soon. Thank you Chris.

We found a blackbird laying on our path which Chris kindly took it in. A truly lovely lady, who cares so much about our little wild friends. You can tell this is her ‘calling’ in life. We need more people like her in the world. Thanks Chris, hope the little bird makes it through okay.

Chris is a wonderful person – having spotted our cat 'playing' with a baby bird in our garden we rescued the bird, called Chris who offered to take it in and care for it. She is very friendly, has a wonderful dog called Betty, and we wish her well with her plan of a wildlife centre.

I found a crow on the village green which had been clipped by a car – not sure what to do or how extreme its injuries were but as the green was frequented by many dogs and their owners plus the school children decided to go back and pick it up. Phoned Chris who was very supportive and gave me some sound solid advise – luckily crow was only stunned and I was able to return it back to where I found it where it flew off to be with the other crows on the green – thank you for… Read more »
