Thank you. I understand this is a short term thing due to the pressures of baby season so it's worth others continuing to contact them if they find a casualty in this area.

I contacted this charity because I found an injured pigeon in my garden. They answered straight away and gave me all the advice that I needed. I then took to sick bird to them and saw what wonderful work that they do. So far the poor pigeon is doing well and is showing signs of improvement, thanks to the dedication that the staff clearly have. I have nothing but praise for each and everyone if them and urge people to support their charity.

I recently found a pigeon with a wing injury in my garden. It was reluctant to spread it's wings and couldn't fly. I contacted the RSPCA and my Vets and discovered that unfortunately the pigeon would likely be PTS because the injury was to a wing. The pigeon was in relatively good condition and seemed fairly healthy otherwise, so I decided to try and find somewhere to take the pigeon rather than have it PTS. I contacted Greenmount. They were very helpful and were able to take the pigeon immediately. They were hopeful that the injury would be treatable, and if the pigeon isn't able to be released after recovery, it will stay at Greenmount as a permanent sanctuary resident.
