I was disappointed that the rescue centre wouldn't take the hedgehog my daughter found at her school as we live in Bucks and not Brackley. I had to drive around 24 miles to Tiggywinkles who were excellent when Brackley would have been 8 miles and less stressful for the hedgehog.

Thank you for the feedback, Sally. It may be that this rescue needs to limit their catchment area due to lack of space. Most hedgehog rescues are run by individuals or couples from their home so they have limited resources and quickly become full this time of year with so many autumn juveniles needing help.

Thank you Andrew for coming out so quickly to look over the hedgehog found on the road centre, Brackley, 26/02/2018. Your informative talk and rerun of the route he would have followed was amazingly accurate. The revelation that he was radio chipped and therefore easily recognisable was an added surprise. We look forward to hearing more news of his progress in your care.
