What is the point of a phone number when nobody answers, or provides a link, for help. M Binns

Whilst I understand how frustrating it is not to get a response when you need help, Toni, in common with many other hedgehog rescuers, is one person doing the best she can alongside all the other commitments of normal life. She is not a big organisation with paid staff to sit and answer the phone. She is, however, one of the UK's foremost researchers into the plight of hedgehogs and has done a vast amount to improve our understanding of them and their rescue and rehabilitation. The contribution she has made to helping hedgehogs should not be underestimated. We do list quite a lot of other rescues for this region so do please ring round and hopefully one of them will be able to help.

We rely on YOUR feedback to keep this information up to date so please leave a comment below to let us know whether the contact details are correct and whether the rescue could help with the species you contacted them about. Please

- stick to factual comments - the aim of this site is not to review how ‘good’ a rescue is and comments which are purely opinion based may not be approved.

- DO NOT use the comments box to try and send a message to the rescue - this is a directory site and independent from the rescue listed. If you wish to contact the rescue please use the contact information provided above.

- DO NOT comment seeking advice about a casualty as your question may not be seen quickly. If you need advice about a bird or animal please telephone the rescue directly using the contact details listed above.
