HelpWildlife.co.uk is a web-based project, run by the Starlight Trust, which aims to provide help and advice to members of the public who find sick and injured wildlife. The site offers around 60 advice articles, a directory of more than 700 UK wildlife rescues, and a unique volunteer-run helpdesk for bespoke advice.
With your donation we will
– fund the software and hosting needed to run the website (around £360 a year)
– fund the software needed to operate our helpdesk (around £395 a year)
– fund the transport of casualties to rescue via taxi where other options have failed
– make small grants to wildlife rescues to help with costs such as vet bills or equipment purchases
There are 3 ways to donate below
You can donate to HelpWildlife via Donorbox. This provides you with the option to make a recurring donation and/or add Gift Aid. Donorbox does charge us a small fee but offers you the option to cover this for us if you wish.
You can make a quick and easy donation via PayPal without needing to sign up or provide us with any information. If you choose the ‘family and friends’ option there will be no fees for you or us. You won’t be able to Gift Aid your donation though.
Or, you can use Donorbox to donate to our £1 for Wildlife campaign and choose whether to make a single or monthly contribution, whether to add Gift Aid, and whether your donation funds our work or is passed on to a wildlife rescue we select from our directory.
