I phoned this wildlife centre today about some baby rabbits that needed help. I was advised to feed them dried cat food made into a paste. As rabbits are herbivores this advice concerned me deeply so I not only contacted The Vale Wildlife Hospital but also the Rabbit Welfare Association who both reiterated what I'd thought, do not feed rabbits meat or dairy products. Very dissapointed in the advice given and have emailed the centre directly.

Our volunteers work hard to keep these listings up to date but your help with this is very much needed and appreciated. We rely on YOUR feedback to keep this information up to date so please leave a comment below to let us know whether the contact details are correct and whether the rescue could help with the species you contacted them about. Please

- stick to factual comments - the aim of this site is not to review how ‘good’ a rescue is and comments which are purely opinion based may not be approved.

- DO NOT use the comments box to try and send a message to the rescue - this is a directory site and independent from the rescue listed. If you wish to contact the rescue please use the contact information provided above.

- DO NOT comment seeking advice about a casualty as your question may not be seen quickly. If you need advice about a bird or animal please telephone the rescue directly using the contact details listed above.
