Rang and no-one answered but the auto-message said they aren't taking in any injured birds at this time. Another woman I called says Terry Marsh isn't doing this at the moment due to ill health. I have a young blackbird here with a broken wing & no-one can help.

We have received feedback that this rescue advised a caller than it was illegal for them to help pigeons. Please note this is NOT true. Pigeons are not 'classed as vermin' and there are no legal restrictions on caring for them or releasing them. If you have a pigeon in need of help in this area, please use another rescue.

We rely on YOUR feedback to keep this information up to date so please leave a comment below to let us know whether the contact details are correct and whether the rescue could help with the species you contacted them about. Please

- stick to factual comments - the aim of this site is not to review how ‘good’ a rescue is and comments which are purely opinion based may not be approved.

- DO NOT use the comments box to try and send a message to the rescue - this is a directory site and independent from the rescue listed. If you wish to contact the rescue please use the contact information provided above.

- DO NOT comment seeking advice about a casualty as your question may not be seen quickly. If you need advice about a bird or animal please telephone the rescue directly using the contact details listed above.
