Last year we took a very poorly hedgehog with a badly damaged leg and in a sorry state, they put him to sleep which was a blessing that we could take him somewhere close to us and to the vet that was sympathetic to the hedgehogs. This year we found another very poorly hedggy ( we have a lot that stay with us and have their little hogs in our garden.) The vet took him in and tried with anti biotic but he was only 320gm and very poorly and he died over night. We are very great full that the vet tries to make them better. Trisha

Our volunteers work hard to keep these listings up to date but your help with this is very much needed and appreciated. We rely on YOUR feedback to keep this information up to date so please leave a comment below to let us know whether the contact details are correct and whether the rescue could help with the species you contacted them about. Please

- stick to factual comments - the aim of this site is not to review how ‘good’ a rescue is and comments which are purely opinion based may not be approved.

- DO NOT use the comments box to try and send a message to the rescue - this is a directory site and independent from the rescue listed. If you wish to contact the rescue please use the contact information provided above.

- DO NOT comment seeking advice about a casualty as your question may not be seen quickly. If you need advice about a bird or animal please telephone the rescue directly using the contact details listed above.
